Curly Girls Studio isn’t your typical salon. Conveniently located midtown on Yonge just north of Lawrence, the studio offers a variety of services including a private, one-on-one experience with a stylist. Our goal is to bring out the best in your curls while offering a relaxing environment. You’ll also learn how to care for your curls so you’ll have that just-out-of-the-salon look every day.  All of this is offered in an atmosphere created for the comfort of the curly girl. You can spend your dry time relaxing under the warmth of the hooded dryer reading the curly literature on hand, or simply enjoying a cup of tea by the fireplace. At CurlyGirls, the choice is yours!

Adina has over 20 years’ experience in the hair industry and has been a texture expert since 2007. She was trained in New York City at Devachan by Lorraine Massey as a Deva Inspired Stylist. Through Devachan she learned about extensive curlaboration, pintura colouring highlighting techniques and was the first Curl Coach named in the Deva program in 2016. She honed her skills through working at salons that specialize in curly hair. No matter what texture or state your curls are in, at CurlyGirls Studio, they’re in good hands!  In 2013 Adina was acredited as the only dual certified curly hair expert in North America being Certified by Ouidad adding to her curly expertise. In May 2015, Adina advanced her accredation with Deva and is now is at the highest level as a Certified DevaCurl Stylist, Curl Ambassador and educator that travels cross-Canada teaching hair stylist the art of cutting curls. Curly Girls Studio talent are one of very few in Canada offering advanced waterfall and volume techniques but also advanced Pintura / curl by curl highlights and lowlights qualifications. In June 2017 Adina became the only curl expert in Canada Certified with the Curlisto as well.

The majority of curly girls who walk through the door of the studio are in “hair despair”. Whether the damage be from iron abuse, improper curly cuts, over processing, excessive curl dehydration, or any combination of these issues, Adina and her team want to help you get your hair to its best state!
